Kruger Shalati Bridge House

Kruger Shalati and Bridge House is a perfect example of how unique and grandeur a project can be.

We started from the ground up and powered through all of Covid’s regulations. What an adventure it was. From line drawings in the heated South African sands to makeshift wooden trolleys that carried our much needed refreshments.

Mosaic rainfall

One of our favourite visual moments is captured in the Shalati showers. Andrea, owner of HK Studio, tried to superimpose the client’s logo onto mosaic tiles. The outcome created a rainfall look and helped bridge the problem of not being able to use big tiles as the compartments constantly extract and contract.

Inspired by the surroundings

We re-imagined this space into a modern hotel filled with a combination of traditional and modern art, fittings and inspired by the historical architecture and surroundings.
